Nodes convert Ethernet-based lighting protocols such as Art-Net and sACN into DMX and RDM outputs for fixtures, dimmers and other stage devices. The range covers units from single manufacturers including grandMA2 and grandMA3 Ports, MA Lighting Port PRO models, ETC Net3 gateways, Chamsys Art-Net nodes, Swisson and DMXking devices, alongside Ethernet switches from Luminex built for signal distribution across a rig. Port counts range from two to eight, suiting setups from small stages to larger touring rigs.
These devices sit between a lighting console or show controller and the fixtures on stage or in studio, translating network data into usable DMX universes at the point of connection. They are used in live events, broadcast and film lighting installations where consoles are positioned away from the dimmers or fixtures themselves. Also included is the Enttec DMX USB PRO for direct USB to DMX conversion, and the Grand MA NPU processor for network processing within a grandMA system.
