Petrol-driven generators such as the 5.5kW GP6500L and the 2.2kW PG 2200 Pro provide independent power for locations without a suitable mains connection, or as backup where continuous supply is critical. These units suit outside broadcasts, film shoots, live events and studio work in remote or temporary locations, powering lighting, sound and other technical equipment on site. Fuel is not included and must be sourced separately.
Output ranges from small single-phase units for compact loads up to larger sets for heavier draws, allowing selection according to the power budget of the production. Generators in this category are typically paired with distribution equipment found elsewhere in this section to feed cabling and connected devices safely and efficiently.
