Spansets are flat webbing and soft steel slings used to attach rigging points, trussing and chain hoists to fixed structures such as beams, grids and towers. The range covers lengths from 0.5 m to 3 m, each rated to 2 tonnes and colour-coded according to length for quick identification on site. Soft steel versions offer additional resistance to abrasion and heat where webbing alone would be unsuitable, while the keylink sling provides a multi-point connector for more complex rigging arrangements.
These slings form part of the wider rigging inventory used to build safe suspension points for lighting, audio and stage equipment in touring, studio and live event environments. Selecting the correct length and configuration allows riggers to work within the required load angles and clearances, keeping span and drop measurements consistent across a build.
